One of these is not like the others...

I've been wanting to do this comp for awhile now. For some reason I tossed in the Spa Ritual even though it's not really like the others. But it's a silvery-grey that shifts a little bit purple.
Index Finger: Opulent Cloud
Middle Finger: OPI - Not Like the Movies
Ring Finger: Wet-n-Wild - Gray's Anatomy
Pinky: Spa Ritual - Sacred Ground

Good golly, I forgot how freaking amazing Opulent Cloud is! It's so pretty! Sacred Ground is reather awesome too. Gray's Anatomy and Not Like the Movies are very similar except the OPI had some silver glitter? particles. While I was swatching these, I remembered I had ONE MORE that was similar to these and went and dug out Lippman - Wicked Game.

Compare:

Index: Gray's Anatomy
Middle: Not Like the Movies
Ring: Wicked Game
Pinky: Gray's Anatomy
Gray's and WG are both very, bery thin and sheer. This is about four coats of each. Honestly, they are indistinguishable from each other.

Verdict: If you missed out on Wicked Game, pick up Gray's Anatomy (if you can still find it) it's the same thing.
If I had to get rid of one: Gray's Anatomy, the brush is big and really annoying, plus the bottle is ugly.

Essie - Strange French

I'm not sure what was going on here! I picked up Essie's kisses and bises at CVS for $2.22. I told my husband, "If you see Essie for $2, you buy it!" But it's kind of sheer and weird...but yet still awesome! For some reason I thought some french tips in Sally Hansen's Kumquat would be cute. You be the judge?

Sally Hansen Ice Queen

This is Ice Queen over China Glaze LOL. It's pretty silver sparkles with blue and purple hex glitter in a clear base. Wore well, so well I couldn't get some of the glitter off!

Cosmic Blue - Sally Hansen Xtreme

This is without top coat and it's kinda lumpy and sloppy. i haven't had a chance to try to photograph it again.

Cosmic Midnight Blues

This is Midnight from the Wet n Wild Holiday collection I believe. It photographed kind of weird. To my eye it was more of a medium purple.
It has great holo glitter pieces that were hard to capture because there was no sun out.

Indoor lighting.

Midnight looked sort of familiar so thought I would compare it to Duri "Midnight Blues" which I have posted before and Sally Hansen XTreme Cosmic Blue, which is a LE this season and I don't think I have posted yet.

Index: Duri, Middle and Pinky: W-n-W, Ring: SH Xtreme

There is no top coat so they look a little chunky.
SH has some weird bar glitter that doesn't shine through because the polish is kind of dense.

Sally Hansen - Purple Diamond - Nail Prism

Found it at Dollar Tree in a 2-pack with
a plain color Look at the holo-prettiness!

It's called Purple Diamond, but to my eye, it really is more pink than purple.
Whatever it is, it's gorgeous!

I almost think I like this more than China Glaze's LOL and BFF! Almost.

Concrete next to Mystic Lilac

Here is Concrete, sitting on some actual concrete.
It's definitely got a lavender/grey thing going on. Very pretty. I could have sworn SH already had this color out and it was more putty colored, but it's included in the LE display in stores now and it looks like this. I found them at Rite Aid BOGO free.

This is concrete and mystic lilac side by side. Mystic lilac has a really pretty teal-green shimmer to it and it a slightly less grey lavender, if that makes sense.

Mystic Lavender

This is very sheer. It took maybe 4-5 coats to be opaque.

I wanted to love it, but once I had it on and wore it for a day or so, I didn't really like how it looked with my skin tone, and I almost never say that about any color. It's still a really interesting addition to my colection though.

Orly vs. Sally

I didn't compare Purple Gala to Mr. Wrong, but I did compare it to two of the Orly Cosmic FX polishes. Verdict=none of them are alike. :)

All of them are gorgeous though!

New SH Xtreme Wear - Purple Gala

This is easily my favorite. I have seen some comparisons to Hard Candy's Mr. Wrong, but I thought this had more of a duochrome effect and wasn't as purple as Mr. Wrong, I will have to check them out side by side.

Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri in "Grape Going" I have heard this has been hard to find, but I was able to find it at Walgreen's. I didn't enjoy paying $4.99 for a drugstore polish, but this is such a cool color!
It's winter here in NY, so the light for taking photos hasn't been the best.

One thing I have to say about the Insta-Dri colors, the brushes SUCK. It's a really weird, stubby thing. Otherwise this was awesome.

The only other Borghese I have also has a really crappy brush. The one on Stellare Notte is fine though. This applied awesomely! It's looks so cool too. It shifts grey-blueish-purpleish-greenish. I think this is a Limited Edition shade from their "Fashionista" collection. I found it at Rite-Aid for (the highly offensive for a drugstore polish price of) $8.00.

More fun stuff...

Sally Hansen, Extreme Wear in "Purple Potion". I loved this shade of purple and it has these blue glimmery, shimmery particles in it that I was able to capture a little bit. I have seen these at CVS for 50% off, which is like $1.25. Great polish for the price!

Nubar "Greener". Sorry it's so sloppy, but it seems to be the only picture I took of it. I didn't love wearing this one as much as I thought I would! So sad. It also chipped and came off pretty quick. Boo!

China Glaze "DV8". I wanted this for quite awhile and then when I finally wore it, I felt kind of "blah" about it. It's pretty for sure. It also didn't chip like LOL did on me. It wore really, really well.

MMMMMMMMMM....Gussied up in Green. This was HOT. I love the name, I love the shade of green, I loved the wear of this. Everything about it was just AWESOME. Plus, I got tons of compliments on it.
