China Glaze's "Meteor Shower" I wanted to love this so much.
It's such a pretty deep dark navy blue with all this awsome sliver, blue and teal glitter in it.
I read the stories about how lumpy it was, but I thought I could fix it with some top coat.
The lesson? You can't fix lumpy polish. No matter how many layers of Seche Vite you use.
Sigh..
LOL, I wore this this other day too, and decided I was foolish to wear such a dark glitter with no sun in sight. I did 2 coats of Seche when I put it on at night, and an additional coat the next morning ... it was *almost* smooth =) I was so dissapointed I actually still haven't posted the pics
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't believe that I didn't find you blog sooner. Great swatches!
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad it's so lumpy, because it really is a beautiful color. I'm surprised that Seche Vite couldn't fix it - that stuff is a miracle worker!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty! Enough so that I might consider wearing it despite lumps and bumps.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty color! I understand though; I hate when my polish is lumpy!
ReplyDelete:) I also should have added it was a PITA to remove! I actually still have chunks of blue glitter under my current mani. Gross, I know!
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem with this - man was I disappointed. The colour is so gorgeous that I really wanted to love it but the lumpies were too much.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shade on you. Shame it's lumpy.
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to get this polish, because it's such a gorgeous color - and then, nothing but lumps upon application. And yes, it was the WORST pain to remove. So depressing.
